KAR Automotive Repair is a family-owned shop in Cambridge, Ontario, led by Master Technician Kirk Robbins, who brings nearly three decades of hands-on experience across domestic and import vehicles. After years with Subaru and an 18-year stint at Speedy, Kirk opened KAR in July 2017 to deliver dealership-level expertise with neighbourly service.

Today, Kirk’s son Jacob works alongside him as the next generation in the bay, and Kirk’s father still lends a hand from time to time—making KAR a true three-generation operation. That continuity shows up in every repair: careful diagnosis, transparent recommendations, and workmanship we’re proud to stand behind.
